Senior Technical Purchaser (m/f/d) Engine

We are looking for a Senior Technical Purchaser (m/f/d) for engine components to be part of our research and development, customer and works motorsport team in Cologne, Germany.

Your tasks:

• manage the buying process for engine components in line with specified costs, quality, quantity and delivery target
• evaluate suppliers and participate in the selection process, handle cost estimations and ensure budget framework is observed
• align with project leaders on demands
• facilitate the exchange between technical areas and supplier
• responsible for Supplier and Quality Management

The successful candidate will:

• have an engineering/business degree or a degree in a relevant discipline
• have at least 5 years of relevant working experience purchasing engine components (ideally motorsport industry)
• have professional negotiation skills
• show sound knowledge of SAP-MM, Siemens TeamCenter and MS Office
• be fluent in English, german language skills are a plus
• be open for business travels from time to time
