Parts Coordinator (m/f/d) Customer Motorsport

We are looking for a Parts Coordinator (m/f/d) for Customer Motorsport to Support the GT projects with daily tasks based out of our Cologne headquarters.

Your Tasks:

  • Responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of all car components to meet the project schedule and gaining extensive knowledge of the lifecycle of GT car parts.
  • Working cross-functionally with supply chain, manufacturing, stores and freights departments to coordinate parts at the factory.
  • Work closely with design to smooth the transition of new parts into distribution and provide feedback on any issues highlighted.
  • Accountable for the punctual coordination of parts supply to our worldwide network of customers.
  • Coordinate the efficient delivery of parts for R&D projects relating to our GT program whilst ensuring manufacturing and car build requirements are respected.
  • Coordinate the distribution of new and serviced parts to and from our worldwide motorsport events.
  • Support the test and race team by assisting with pre-event and post event activities.
  • Assist in quantity planning and support necessary departments with maintaining appropriate levels of stock.

 

Your profile:

  • Technical education/training with several years of job-specific practical experience
  • The successful candidate will have good understanding of car components, stock management and parts flow in a manufacturing environment
  • ERP and Lifing System knowledge is essential (SAP and Teamcenter preferred, but not essential)
  • An ability to read and interpret technical drawings and information pertaining to assembly, periodic updates and modifications of car parts and assemblies.
  • Will be a person who works to the highest standards, with a methodical approach and an attention to detail.
  • Must be able to prioritize workload according to project demands and remain focused when working under pressure.
  • Be flexible, adaptable and able to work independently.
  • Must be a problem solver and enjoy completing the challenges of a dynamic environment in a team that thrives to deliver their best in the championship
  • Comprehensive technical understanding within the field of motorsport is beneficial
  • Be able to communicate clearly in spoken and written English
