We are looking for an Engineer (m/w/d) CFD Simulation specializing in CFD simulations to support vehicle development projects at our Cologne headquarters.

Job description / Tasks:

  • conduct 3D-CFD simulations, including ICE, in-cylinder, and air path-flow simulation
  • perform electronic components flow simulation
  • handle CHT, Cooling, and Thermal Management at the component level
  • carry out 1D-CFD simulations, including thermal and cooling system simulation for BEV and ICE vehicles
  • develop ICE 1D-CFD performance models

 

The successful candidate will:

  • hold a master’s degree or equivalent in Engineering
  • have significant experience in CFD simulation within a professional environment in vehicle development
  • be proficient in Star CCM+, CONVERGE, and GTPower
  • have knowledge and experience with future energy carriers such as e-fuels and hydrogen
  • possess a good working knowledge of Catia V5, Cantera, and Python (advantageous)
  • be able to speak and write professional English
  • show interest in working in an international team and demonstrate intercultural competence, with an affinity for Japanese culture
  • be a true team player, accustomed to working in a structured, thorough, and self-organized manner
