Für unser Team suchen wir am Standort Köln ab sofort einen Motorenbauer (m/f/d) in Vollzeit. Sie haben Teamgeist, arbeiten gerne eigenverantwortlich und handwerklich? Ihre Aufgaben:

  • Montage von Motoren und Motorkomponenten gemäß Spezifikation
  • Demontage, Inspektion und Wiederaufbau von Rennmotoren
  • Testen und Messen von Motorkomponenten
  • Pflege genauer Test- und Messprotokolle
  • In-house-Motorenvorbereitung nach Renn- & Testspezifikation
  • Bereitstellung von Unterstützung vor Ort bei Renn- &Testveranstaltungen weltweit
  • Vor- und Nachbearbeitung von Testveranstaltungen
  • Vorbereitung und Inbetriebnahme der Motoren gemäß Arbeitsanweisungen
  • Nachverfolgung von Testergebnissen

 

Sie bringen mit:

  • eine anerkannte technische Ausbildung (vorzugsweise in der Mechatronik) oder Erfahrung in einer Motorsport-Umgebung 
  • relevante Berufserfahrung 
  • gute mechanische Fähigkeiten und haben idealerweise bereits als Motorbau-Techniker bei Motorsportveranstaltungen unterstützt
  • bevorzugt Kenntnisse in Motorenreparatur und -wartung 
  • solide Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
  • absolute Reisebereitschaft weltweit
  • Teamplayer-Bewusstsein, der einen verantwortungsvollen und kreativen Arbeitsstil demonstriert, unabhängig und unter hohem Druck arbeiten kann, über ausgeprägte zwischenmenschliche Fähigkeiten verfügt und einen flexiblen Ansatz bei den Arbeitszeiten hat

We are looking for an Engine Build Technician (m/f/d) to be part of our research and development and works motorsport team in Cologne, Germany.

Your tasks:

  • assembly engines & engine components acc. specification

  • stripping, inspecting and rebuilding race engines

  • testing and measuring of engine components

  • maintaining accurate test and measurement records

  • in-house engine preparation to racing/testing specification

  • providing trackside support at race and test events worldwide

  • pre- and post-processing of test events

  • preparation and commissioning of the engines according work instructions

  • follow up of test results

 

The successful candidate will:

  • have a recognised apprenticeship (preferably in mechanics or similar) or experience to equivalent depth in a motorsport environment

  • display relevant working experience

  • show good mechanical skills and have ideally already supported as engine build technician during motorsport event

  • preferably have knowledge in engine repair and maintenance

  • have sound German and English language skills

  • be willing to travel frequently

  • be a team player who demonstrates a responsible and creative working style, work independently to high standards with a minimum of supervision, have distinctive interpersonal skills and a flexible approach to working hours as well as the ability to perform under pressure
