Your tasks:

  •  Design, develop, and optimize electronic systems, PCBs, sensors, and data acquisition solutions used in wind tunnel operations.
  • Build and maintain LabVIEW-based measurement routines, test automation frameworks, and control interfaces for wind tunnel equipment.
  • Create software applications and tools (MATLAB, Python, C/C++, C#, etc.) to support data processing, instrumentation control, automation, and workflow efficiency.
  • Perform troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and validation of both hardware and software systems.
  • Collaborate closely with aerodynamicists, mechanical engineers, instrumentation engineers, and operations teams.
  • Evaluate new technologies and propose improvements for instrumentation accuracy, stability, and efficiency.
  • Ensure full documentation of designs, test procedures, maintenance actions, and technical specifications.
  • Support continuous development of wind tunnel measurement capabilities and enhancement of system reliability.

 

 Your profile:

  •  Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in electronic circuit design, PCB development, component selection, and system integration.
  • Solid experience with at least one high-level programming language (Python, C#, Java, or similar).
  • Practical, hands-on expertise in LabVIEW (required), including data acquisition, instrument control, software architectures, LabVIEW Real-Time, FPGA programming, and automated testing.
  • Practical, hands-on expertise with National Instruments PXI, CompactRIO, and CompactDAQ devices.
  • Strong understanding of communication protocols (CAN, Ethernet, EtherCAT)
  • Experience with embedded Linux or real-time operating systems (RTOS)
  • Familiarity with PCB design tools (Altium Designer, KiCad, Eagle)
  • Competence with laboratory measurement equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, multimeters, and logic analyzers.
  • Ability to design, validate, and maintain electronic hardware for long-term operational stability
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a methodical and detail-oriented approach
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
