We are looking for a Project Planner (m/f/d) – Chassis Design to be part of our works motorsport team in Cologne, Germany.

Your tasks:

  • We strive to find the perfect balance of priorities between our motorsports activities, customer orders, development projects and third-party business opportunities. Your role will be to support our project leaders and line management to keep an overview of all activities, while monitoring staff utilization/workload.
  • Specifically, you will support our Chassis Design area including Composite design (who are responsible for the development of carbon fibre race car parts) and Mechanical Design (who are responsible for the development of suspension, brakes, gearbox and integration race car parts).
  • You will be responsible to create project plans, milestones, deadlines and capacity planning in close cooperation with the project leaders and line managers.
  • You will monitor project progress, keep an eye on the critical path, follow-up on deliverables and ensure a consistent communication.
  • Also, you will coordinate with our purchasing and production divisions to track availability of certain critical parts.

 

The successful candidate will:

  • Have an education with a technical background
  • Have gained experience in planning project activities in the context of engineering and/or production processes related to both composite and mechanical parts
  • Have at least 2 years of relevant work experience
  • Ideally, have some experience working with MS Project, SAP and PLM Software
  • Find it easy to keep an overview over a large number of simultaneous processes with shifting priorities and different stakeholders
  • Have strong planning capabilities, a structured approach to their work and good communication skills
  • Be comfortable with the high-paced and dynamic environment of professional motorsports
  • Be available to work on-site in Cologne, Germany and have an EU work permit.
  • Write and speak professional English. German language skills can be an advantage, but are not required
