(Junior) Account Manager (m/f/d)

We are looking for a Junior Account Manager (m/f/d) to support our sales team for third party business with daily tasks based out of our Cologne headquarters.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with our technical teams (aerodynamics, chassis testbench, production, powertrain dynos and driver-in-the-loop simulator) to manage external customer accounts
  • Expand and maintain customer base
  • Handle the entire sales cycle, from first customer contact through to to closing deals proposals, order handling and invoicing
  • Create new sales material and portfolio presentations with marketing and technical areas to gain more visibility in the market
  • Manage offers, orders and invoices
  • Strengthen existing customer relationships while identifying new opportunities on both national and international levels

 

Qualifications:

  • A degree in business, technology, or equivalent training and education
  • A solid foundation in either technology or business
  • Experience selling intricate technical products or customized solutions to customers
  • Effective communication skills, including offer creation and product presentations
  • Proficiency in both German and English
  • Good knowledge of all MS Office apps, specifically Microsoft Excel, PP but also SAP and the ability to perform and follow up cost calculations
  • A customer-centric approach with a consultative, solution-focused mindset
  • Ability to convey complex information clearly, demonstrate loyalty, and align with high targets
